Laser treatment can gently treat a variety of optical problems, including stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, acne scars, spider veins, and wrinkles. The treatment is hardly noticeable. The results of the treatment last for about 12-36 months and can be prolonged with appropriate care. During the laser treatment, pulses of light are emitted to the treatment area without removing the skin. The skin layer is injured by the light pulses, so that new cells have to be formed for healing. Cell formation creates collagen, which is responsible for a firm and youthful complexion. Due to the process of regeneration, the complexion improves continuously and the full result is not visible immediately after the treatment.

The number of treatments depends on the initial condition and desired result of the skin. An improvement in the complexion can be seen after the first treatment. Normally, however, the treatment is repeated 4 - 6 times with a treatment interval of 2 - 4 weeks in order to achieve more effective results. The treatment interval between treatments must be observed in order to give the skin sufficient time to regenerate. After the treatment, the achieved result lasts for 12 - 36 months.
